The following terms and conditions apply to projects undertaken by www.expertbookmarketing.com

COPYRIGHT

You will hold full copyright to the content that we will develop for you and deliver as per the agreed terms. We will hold no copyright whatsoever on the content and you are free to publish and use it as per your wish.

PAYMENT

We charge 100% advance payment for all services mentioned on the website. All transaction charges and tax (as applicable) are to be borne by the client.

REVISIONS

We offer unlimited number of revisions on delivered work, as long as the requests are made within 7 days of delivering the work, and in special cases, as long as the requests are made within 14 days of delivering of work. All revision requests pertaining to customers order will be completed as per the urgency of the order with 24 hours as standard minimum turnaround time.

Revision turnaround time as per urgency is as follows:

  • For orders up to 24 hours of urgency; Revision turnaround time would be 24 hours.
  • For orders between 24-48 hours of urgency; Revision turnaround time would be 48 hours.
  • For orders of 48 hours and above; Revision turnaround time would be 72 hours.
PROJECT REQUIREMENTS

Any project requirements will be discussed with the clients before the start of a project. Service level disputes will be addressed based on the agreed terms and requirements at the beginning of a project, these terms and conditions, as well as reasonable business practices.

REFUND POLICY

You may claim a full refund of your amount before we have started working on your project. However, once the work has started on a project the refund will be processed after deducting any applicable transaction charges from the amount. Refund requests will not be accepted if you sign up using a limited time or discounted promotion.

A refund request can be submitted if you are not satisfied with any product or service provided by Expert Book Marketing within 5 days of your order completion. Certain percentage based refund would be granted if we are unable to provide required service through our unlimited revision policy. If no refund request is received within five days after your order has been delivered, your satisfaction over the delivered order shall be assumed by both the parties.

• For mobile communications, reply "STOP" or “Unsub” “Unsubcribe” to any SMS message you receive from us. The SMS will will be stopped right away.

4. Frequency of Communication

We will strive to limit the frequency of our communications to a reasonable level. However, there may be exceptions during special update about project or urgent notifications.

Good people, but slow process

The process went slower than what I expected due to changes in the project manager. The people I worked with were polite and knowledgeable, but slow.

Publishing My Book

Cheryl Ann patiently guided me through the various stages of publishing my book. We did have a few unusual technical issues - one caused by the coincidence of having an author with the same title and the same initials in his author name on Expert Book Marketing! But we eventually managed to work things through. The editing process was quick and efficient, but I did find that in one or two instances new mistakes were introduced. You DO have to read through the proofs. However, I am very pleased with the outcome.

A Great Team

I am working with Liz Hales and her team and I love working with them. The communication and team work between her and her team has been great. They are bringing my vision to life with such wonderful illustrations of my children’s book as this is a 20 years dream of mine and now it is coming to fruition with Liz Hales and her great team on Expert Book Marketing....

Do your Research , i wish i would had

They published my book, and they had good communication, and the contract was fulfilled. The advertising was a total bust and I only made 11 book sales was not worth the investment. All the Hype. they felt that readers would really resignate with my book, well 11 of them did. Im only giving a 3 star for the hard work they did on the publishing and all, but the lack of sales and the $8000 i invested. I would not reccomend this company or use them again based on that.

It was amazing

Emma was very considerate and took her time to explain things thoroughly. She even went out of her way to work the financing so that I could afford to make my dream a reality. I really appreciate her and her teams efforts so much.

The Providers were very skilled with…

The Providers were very skilled with what they did in regards to publishing. However, I feel as though I was lied to to get me to publish through them. They claimed it would be only 8000 to publish. Well 20,000 later I was published I just feel that many surprise prices were tacked on that were not open about. Other than that little quibble everyone I worked with were skilled and quite pleasant.

Very good first experience

I would give it a 4.5 rating (if I could). The Project Manager was very attentive, which was excellent (5 star). This was my first experience publishing a novel, and I appreciated his regular communication and education. The end quality of the art/ book cover and text formatting were very professional. My only frustrations were: (1) when I pointed out a few issues and in return received a message that the issues were corrected, but when I review it not all were addressed, and (2) when I had an expectation as part of the project and found later that it was not part of the deal. All said, I wouldn't hesitate to work with Expert Book Marketing again.

What percentage of the book's sale proceeds will go to the author?

Yes, the author retains 100% of the film rights for their work. However, we ask to be informed about the exciting news so we can share it on social media. There are no commissions involved.

The author will hold the copyrights in all cases.

Once we receive the computer-typed manuscript and you’re written or email approval for print, along with the verified payment, it typically takes about 7 to 14 days. While certain distribution channels may take a bit longer, we guarantee that the book will be available in our store within the specified timeframe.
